My recent stay at Kaikoura Seaside Lodge was a rejuvenating experience, perfectly nestled against the backdrop of the stunning surf beach and the snow-capped mountains. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel at home, offering us the flexibility of a quieter room upon request - a thoughtful gesture amidst the vibrant surroundings. The large shared kitchen with its breathtaking views was a delight for both cooking and unwinding, while the cozy lounge area provided a warm retreat for evening chats after a day of hiking around the picturesque peninsula. With great water pressure in the showers, it was just what I needed to refresh after exploring the local area with my fellow adventure-seekers. Kaikoura's charm is undeniable, and the ideal location of the lodge allowed us to stroll to the main town or hop on the courtesy van to enjoy fresh seafood at the Lobster Inn. I truly could have lingered longer in this tranquil oasis - a haven for those with a love for nature just like me!
